SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST/ACCOUNTANT

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst/Accountant will assist the Director of Financial Reporting with completing periodic SEC filings and other tasks as necessary, including but not limited to: 

Essential Job Duties

  • Form 10-K; Form 10-Q; Form 8-K; Form S-11; Form S-3; Other filings as deemed necessary by the Director of Financial Reporting, SEC counsel, or senior management.
  • Assist the Director of Financial Reporting with completing the necessary documentation for external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Assist the Director of Financial Reporting with completing the 3-14 audits on property acquisitions.
  • Analyze complex financial reports and records.
  • Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
  • Perform variance analyses and prepare analytics.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Document and monitor internal controls in support of the auditing team.
  • Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team as well as other departments.
  • Complete corporate consolidation.
  • Other tasks as directed.

Experience, Requirements, and Core Competencies

  • Advanced level of proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of programs like MRI Real Estate Software, ProSystems Fx Workpaper Manager, and Workvia is a plus.
  • Ability to handle and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to stay knowledgeable about, research, and reach well-reasoned conclusions on technical accounting issues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks.
  • Project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, create cohesive teams, and respond quickly to management requests.
  • Ability to work with little-to-no supervision.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SEC Reporting and US GAAP.
  • 3-5 years experience in regional or top-tier public accounting firms and/or public company environments.

PROPERTY MANAGER ASSISTANT

The Property Manager Assistant will assist the Property Management team with the administration and organization of all aspects of a center and its tenants, responsibilities including but not limited to: 

Essential Job Duties

  • Assist Property Management with day-to-day operations through coordination of tenant requests and administration of maintenance services.
  • Provide support to Property Managers by producing, modifying and/or distributing various forms, spreadsheets, reports, information packages, letters, and other information as required.
  • Process correspondence for tenants, contractors, and other third parties for Property Managers.
  • Dispatch service requests as needed.
  • Assist the Property Managers with tenant and vendor relations as required.
  • Maintain and update insurance certificates for all contractors performing work at all centers.
  • Update and maintain current daily and emergency contact lists, tenant contact information, and after-hours’ access.
  • Assist Property Managers on special projects and miscellaneous assignments, as needed.

Experience, Requirements, and Core Competencies

  • Must have a minimum of three years in commercial or multi-family real estate.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in MRI and VTS desired.
  • Knowledge of office and accounting procedures.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to research and solve problems.
  • Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience maintaining tenant and vendor relations.
